Race Information

The Folsom Firecracker is a 5K and 10K family oriented run. It is a fun run that will take you along the beautiful trails of Lake Natoma. The first mile of the race will start on closed roads of the Parkshore Business park then enter the bike trails of Lake Natoma. Most of course is paved streets and bike trails, but there is some dirt trails, so be prepared. The course has some hills, but most is flat and is great for all ages.

Entry Fees for the 5K run/walk and 10 K:
$20 Early Registration
$25 after 6/21/09
(Entry fee includes t-shirts)

Online registration is available through Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at midnight

By Mail:  Do not mail after June, 24, 2009.

In Person: You can register in person on race day from 7:00am-7:45am, but time and space will be limited. We highly suggest registering at race packet pick-up on Friday, July 3, 2009 from 12pm-8pm. The location will be at the Folsom Wal-Mart, in the Garden Center. Wal-Mart's Garden Center is located on the far left side of the store. It has easy access with a separate entrance.

Awards Ceremony

Awards will be given to the top competitors in various age groups. In addition raffle prizes will be given throughout ceremony based upon bib numbers.
